The closest subway station is Astor Place Station, served by the 6 train. From there, exit the station and walk southeast on 3rd Avenue toward St Marks Pl/E 8th St for approximately three blocks. Turn left onto St Marks Pl and walk one block until you reach the destination on your left.
Driving/parking:
If driving, take FDR Drive to exit 9 for E 42nd St. From there, turn right onto E 42nd St and continue straight until you reach 2nd Avenue.
