Opened in 1943 on Columbus Avenue and West 69th Street, Emerald Inn remained there until rising rents pushed the bar to its current home at 250 West 72nd Street in 2013.
The Emerald Inn is a longstanding Irish restaurant and bar & grill located on W72 Street in the Upper West Side. Owned and operated by The Campbell Family for four generations, it is a local favorite known for its award-winning wings and happy hour specials from 4pm-7pm. If you are taking public transport, take the 1, 2, or 3 subway train to W 72nd St station. Alternatively, take the M57, M66, or M72 bus and get off at the W 72 St/ Broadway stop.
If you are driving, head northwest on Broadway toward W 72nd St. Turn right onto W 72nd Street and continue until you reach your destination. There is a parking garage nearby on West End Avenue between W 70th and W 71st streets.
