It is with regret that we have to announce the end of Milk & Hops Ramen Bar, effective immediately.
We played it to the bone. We poured our hearts and souls into making this bar thrive. And, for a little while from 2019 to early 2020, it looked like we were on the path to something great. Unfortunately, we never regained enough of our regulars after people fled the neighborhood or moved to working from home at the start of the pandemic.
We will forever be grateful to the customers who visited us regularly over the past year, as we are for those who once stood three deep at the bar during events of the beforetimes. It's bittersweet that New York City is reopening as the expenses of the pandemic come due and force us to make a difficult decision, but we choose to remember the better days rather than dwell on the circumstances of our closing.

We'll be opening at Noon today with full kitchen and retail, but limited bar service as our draft system is undergoing maintenance.
We expect to have beers flowing by 2:00 at the latest. is bringing a few of our long-dormant draft lines back into service (nature is healing, etc...)

We can't let the mixologists have all the fun now that customers can sit at a bar. Introducing a new draft special for the holiday week: ⏳⚡ Hour of Lightning is what we're calling the blend (or cuveé if you're feeling fancy) combining two cellared kegs from : X-Tra Coffee Light the Lightning Imperial Stout and Hour of Death Black Pilsner.
The resulting draft smooths out the potent coffee notes and highlights the barrel characteristics. It's robust enough to please the dark beer fiends among us, while light enough to savor on a blazing hot day.
Both of these kegs are rare as hell, so this blend is probably a one-and-done experiment. Drop in and try it while it lasts!

The response to our Vaccine Shot & A Beer special has been overwhelmingly positive (save for a few sad online trolls). We decided to I keep it going through the end of the month as a way to thank you for looking out for our safety and your community! 💉🙌
