The Cocktail: Vida Mezcal, Milagro Silver Tequila, Velvet Falernum, Pickled Grape Syrup, Lemon, Jerry Thomas Bitters The Organization: The Otherside Intercultural Theatre Inc c, is an initiative to create a community of girls through global drama exchange. They create a cross-cultural exchange between young women and girls with different cultural backgrounds via dramatic storytelling. Like pen pals, but with theatre!
Their participants’ ages range from 8-22 years old. Since 2013, they have connected over 400 girls across 3 countries, including U.S. communities in the South Bronx, East & West Harlem, Brooklyn and Staten Island, and communities in Tel-Aviv, Israel; Jattari and Anupshahr, India; with initiatives beginning soon in Kenya, and refugee communities in the United States. They primarily work in underserved communities. Using devised theatre and storytelling techniques, participating girls create dramatic pieces, exploring what it means to be a girl in the context of their own community and culture

For the American restaurant and New American restaurant and pub located in Brooklyn, New York, there are several transportation options available. If using public transport, take the subway to the Park Place station on the Franklin Avenue Shuttle line. From here, walk east along Park Place until you reach Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Washington Avenue and continue for about four blocks until you reach the restaurant.

Alternatively, if driving to the restaurant, take Interstate 278 towards Brooklyn and exit at Classon Avenue. Continue south on Classon Avenue until you reach Bergen Street. Turn right onto Bergen Street and then turn left onto Washington Avenue. The restaurant should be visible from there. There is street parking available nearby although it may be limited during peak hours.
