Hot Bagels (P&C Bagels), the #1 rated bagel shop in NYC according to Mike Varley’s “Everything is Everything” bagel rankings, are getting forced out by their landlord.
Paul & Linda Abatangelo have operated this business in Middle Village, Queens for 29 years. Their landlord abruptly informed them they have until Oct 17th to wrap up business and move out. “The situation has been so stressful that Paul ended up in the hospital,” said Mrs. Abatangelo.
ranked #1 of the 202 bagel shops reviewed by with an overall score of 4.75/5. “The combination of unique store aesthetics, a great staff, the crusty toasty quality of the bagel and the freshness of the cream cheese with great scallion texture additions made [it] a winner,” said Varley.
