🍔 BURGERS FOR GOOD 🌱
September is Hunger Action Month‼️ We’re putting a little more meaning behind one of our favorites.
From September 1–10, a % of every Jerk Tamarind Burger sold at HAAM will be donated to as part of their Burgers for Good campaign.
This one is personal for me.
When I started my bussiness I used to walk around the city during the holidays with boxes of food, burgers included, and hand them out to people experiencing homelessness. I didn’t really know how else to do it other than walking up to people on the street and asking if they needed something to eat.
But over the years, I’ve learned that food insecurity looks like a lot more than the person you see sleeping on the sidewalk. It can be families, children, working people, seniors… people you may never realize are struggling to put food on the table.
That’s why this partnership with means so much to me. City Harvest is NYC’s first and largest food rescue organization, working to get fresh, nutritious food to New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity.
Because food is community. Food is care. And no one should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. ❤️
So come get the burger. Bring your people. Eat something delicious. And know that your meal is helping give back to our city.
✨September 1–10 only.✨

Not all curries are made the same‼️
Rooted in Indian tradition, transformed by the Caribbean. 🌴
Through generations, islands, ingredients, and culture, West Indian curry developed a flavor all its own.
Bold, Fragrant, Layered, and deeply rooted in the people who made it their own. 🇹🇹

Now a staple. Our Oxtail Rice + Peas gives you all the deep, rich flavors and spices you grew up loving. No bones, just all the good stuff. 🌱

SOURSOP SOUR 🥥🍸
Silky soursop, vodka, fresh coconut water, a touch of agave, and a whole lotta island flair.
Every element is intentional. The tropical sweetness, the freshness of the coconut water, the silky texture of soursop, it’s all meant to transport you 🌴
Because that’s what we want when you step into HAAM. For a moment, you’re not just in Brooklyn having a drink. You’re somewhere else. Somewhere warmer, louder, slower… with good music, good food, and a little taste of the islands in every sip.
☀️🌴Consider this your escape. 🌴☀️

Cooking, to me, means slowing down enough to look within.

It’s not something that comes from the outside in. It comes from the inside out. From what you’ve been taught, what you’ve experienced, what you’ve lost, what you’ve loved. It’s foundation. Ancestry. Lineage. Memory. But most importantly Love.
That’s what I try to do at HAAM. Feed you, tell you a story, and hopefully make you feel something.

And yes… sometimes I’ll tell you the story verbally too. 😂❤️

My restaurant is an ode to our Motha’s. Forever 💙
