What my kids think I do vs. what I actually do 😅
Happy M***a’s Day to all the incredible mothers out there 💐 The love, care, sacrifice, and dedication we pour into our children is truly indescribable.
My children have shaped me in ways I never could’ve imagined. They’ve been my greatest teachers, teaching me patience, softness, strength, and a deeper understanding of myself. Because of them, I’ve grown into a different version of who I once was.
And that feeling… the constant love mixed with fear, wanting to protect them from everything this world could ever bring, only a mother truly understands that feeling.
You don’t fully understand love until a piece of you is created inside of you… and then somehow continues living outside of you. It’s the deepest, most unconditional love imaginable.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mommas out there 🤍

These raw cheesecakes have come to mean so much more to me than just dessert. What started as a simple attempt to make my mother happy with a guilt free birthday cake slowly evolved into something far greater over time. They are a reminder that growth comes through trial, through failure, through continuing anyway.
This Mother’s Day, I’m bringing back the Madre Azul Spirulina Cheesecake in honor of my mother’s favorite color blue. 💙
Served with a sorrel berry compote and coconut whipped cream, this dessert is deeply personal to me, a tribute to love, memory, and the women who shape us. 🍰🦋

As Mother’s Day approaches, I find myself sitting in deep gratitude for the woman my mother was. She was self-taught in everything. With only a 5th grade education, raised in the countryside of the Dominican Republic, she began working at a young age simply to help put food on the table, because that’s what life required of her.
But she never stopped learning. She taught herself by observing, by trying, by mastering, whether it was in the kitchen or through the delicate art of crocheting. There was a quiet brilliance in everything she touched. She was extraordinary 🦋
I’m so grateful to hold onto the pieces she left behind, to feel her in them, to imagine her soft hands at work, and to truly understand the magnitude of the woman she was‼️
This Mother’s Day at HAAM is rooted in love. I’m so looking forward to celebrating all the mothers this weekend. 💕

Oxtail, but make it plant-based. 🍽️🔥
Our take on this classic is built from rice paper, wheat, and mushrooms, slow simmered in a rich gravy that’s honestly plate licking good. (Shoutout to ‼️ )
Served with arroz con guandules cooked in coconut, layered with Dominican roots and Trini flavor, sweet caramelized maduros, and a fresh cabbage carrot slaw to balance it all.
Comfort, culture, and flavor 🌱

JERK TAMARIND OYSTER MUSHROOM BURGER 🍄🟫🍔
Stacked inside an everything pretzel bun 🥨 this one hits every note: crunchy, creamy, sweet, and spicy. The oyster mushrooms are fried to that chicharrón de pollo vibe.
The jerk tamarind sauce steals the show: sweet heat, bold flavor, no apologies‼️ While the garlic sauce brings it all home.
There’s a reason this is an OG. A true customer favorite ❤️
Thank yall for loving this burger 🙏🏾
