The Fat Radish

The Fat Radish The Fat Radish, a new American restaurant located on Orchard Street, was an establishment inspired by the seasonal, modern British cooking from the Silkstone team. The restaurant placed an emphasis on farm-table practices and local sourcing. Their dishes were simple yet delicious, created with well-sourced, seasonal ingredients. Sadly, The Fat Radish has permanently closed.

Many have asked how to follow our sister spot in Savannah Georgia, checkout for daily updates. Our original NY location has closed 😓 but the Radish continues to live on in the South and in NY . (*and a new NYC project coming soon!)

Dear friends and loyal guests,

And the mirror comes down. We have made the decision to not re-open our beloved restaurant.  The decision, like so many others we and our fellow restauranteurs have had to make did not come easy. We have had a wonderful 10 years on Orchard Street, full of food, drink, and good vibes. We thank our dedicated staff many of whom have been with us since the beginning, for all their hard work, smiles and care that they showed us and our guests.

We thank you, the guests, for the continued support and the opportunity to provide you with a space to call home. This year marks our 10 year anniversary, so we’ll be popping up at our sister restaurant through October. You’ll have a few more chances to enjoy The Fat Radish classics you crave.

With love and gratitude,
Natalie and Phil

We are approaching the 10-year anniversary of the restaurant – and the hardest part of the closure for us is what this means for the immediate future of our staff and their families. Our valued staff are the backbone of The Fat Radish and make it the special place it is, for over the last decade. Many have been with us since we first opened.
Earlier in the week we held a food drive and since then have been overwhelmed by the support by our community looking for other ways to help. We set up a fund to help support our restaurant family through this very hard time.
For those of you who are fortunate enough to donate, please consider supporting our amazing team. All donations go directly to the staff that bring so much energy to our Radish home. Link in bio.

We love Seedlip here at The Fat Radish. As our very own Victoria Canty says it’s something you didn’t even know you needed until it came out. Everyone should enjoy a complex cocktail alcohol or not. Come on by and try some Seedlip!

It's been eighty five years since Prohibition was repealed, and bartenders are excited about people not drinking again. Seedlip is a non-alcoholic distilled spirit that aims a new intricacy to drinks. Its embrace by the hospitality industry points of things to come.
