Flushing Ice Cream Factory opened in the middle of winter in 2018 with a ribbon cutting celebration attended by family, friends, local elected leaders, and ice cream fans old and new. Since then, we’ve had the privilege to serve the vibrant Flushing community and be a part of your memories, from birthdays to baby showers, to weddings and impactful community events.

It is with mixed emotions that we share that FICF will close on Sunday, September 1.

Our last day of operations will be this Sunday, September 1 – please stop by from 12-8pm to say SEE YOU LATER! We hope that you will still visit us in the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory and Lower East Side Ice Cream Factory in the Essex Market locations and create new memories together!

To get to the ice cream shop and ice cream parlor located on 40 Road in Flushing, there are a few options depending on your preferred mode of transportation.

If you're taking public transport, you can take the subway and get off at Flushing Main Street Station. From there, you can either take the Q44 or Q20A bus to Main St/39th Ave stop and walk for about 3 minutes to reach the destination.

Alternatively, if you're driving, take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Exit 23 for Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue until you hit 40 Road. There is limited street parking available nearby, but there is also a paid parking lot located on nearby Union Street.
