ZAYTOONS was a popular Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant with three locations in Brooklyn: Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights. Founded in 1998 by two cousins with the goal of serving high-quality food at affordable prices, Zaytoons quickly became a local favorite. Its original location on Smith Street was so successful that a second location was opened on Vanderbilt Avenue. Though the latter location is larger, it maintains the same inviting atmosphere and delicious menu as its predecessor. Grandma would often say "Sahtein! Eat in good health"!. It should be noted that ZAYTOONS has not updated its profile for over 5 years and may be closed down.
