Italian restaurants are known for their delicious and authentic cuisine, and Numero 28 in New York certainly lives up to that reputation. Specializing in Neapolitan pizza, this restaurant offers a wide selection of pizzas with delicate and complex ingredients that are sure to satisfy any pizza lover's cravings. The crust is baked hot and fast in a brick oven, achieving the perfect chewy, smoky texture that is unique to Neapolitan pizza.
What sets Numero 28 apart from other Italian restaurants is their meticulous selection of products. From the Vesuvio's organic tomato to the D.O.C. buffalo mozzarella from Battipaglia, every ingredient used in their dishes is of the highest quality. The fragrant basil and unique organic extra virgin olive oil made in Gragnano add an extra layer of flavor to each dish.
But it's not just about the pizza at Numero 28 - they also offer classic Italian dishes such as lasagna, rigatoni alla Bolognese, eggplant parmigiana, homemade tiramisu, and an assortment of antipasti. And let's not forget about their carefully selected wines from some of Italy's most important wineries.
