MOMBUCHA Mombucha is a live and raw food restaurant that originated from an art project in 2009. The founder, inspired by their mother’s kombucha brewing, began sharing this fermented tea with friends and participating in local events like the Greenpoint Food Market. Initially, Mombucha was a casual endeavor, characterized by experimental flavors and creative labeling. By 2013, with the support of dedicated friends, the venture evolved into a commercial brewery located in Greenpoint. Despite its growth, Mombucha has preserved its artisanal approach; every batch is still brewed, bottled, and labeled by hand using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients. The brand continues its commitment to sustainability by utilizing bike deliveries throughout the city.
