the unassuming slice of sicilian here is deceptively amazing. the sweetness of fresh-milled tomatoes, the intensity of thinly-sliced onions cooking in those tomatoes, the wild heat from a scattering of red chili flakes, and our own bread crumbs on top to hold it altogether. enjoy with w**e. red or white. buon appetito!
