Spring is Open House season at Harlem Yacht Club.

Our 2026 Open House dates are:

* Sunday, March 15, 1 pm - 4 pm
* Saturday, April 18, 1 pm - 4 pm
* Sunday, May 17, 1 pm - 4 pm

The club invites prospective members to arrange a tour to see first-hand what the HYC can offer. Please drop a line to the Membership chair at [email protected] or call our office at 718-885-3078 to let us know that you’d like to visit us.

Tour our clubhouse, grounds, and waterfront. You'll meet some of our members, and we'll get a chance to meet you. If you have a particular interest (racing, cruising, social life, fishing, etc.), let us know and we'll connect you with a guide who shares your passion.

We'll explain the benefits of the various membership options. There's no hard sell. Our goal is to help you understand what we have available so you can make the best decision about what's right for you.

Not a boat owner? The club has a limited number of social memberships for folks who would like to enjoy our great waterside restaurant...and possibly learn more about the sailing life. It's a great way to benefit from the experience of our members, whether or not you're looking for a vessel of your own.

What people say

Harlem Yacht Club, located on Hunter Avenue in New York, is the perfect place for boat owners and non-owners alike. With a full social calendar, racing, cruising, daysailing, bar and restaurant facilities, and hauling up to 10,000 lbs., this club has everything you need to enjoy your time on the water.

One of the best things about Harlem Yacht Club is their membership plans. They offer family memberships at no extra charge and even have a new low-cost social membership option available. This means that everyone can enjoy the benefits of being a member of this friendly club.

The recent 140th Going Into Commissioning Ceremony was very well attended and it's easy to see why. They also host Open House Sundays on March 12, April 16, and May 21 where prospective members can meet current members and learn more about the club.

Finally, congratulations to Paul and Wen for winning at Harlem Yacht Club! It's clear that this club attracts some talented sailors who are passionate about what they do.
