Please join us in congratulating Jordan and Hannah, EMDS members #299 and #300!
Not only did these two earn their memberships by putting in the time but they also had the distinction of carrying us across a pretty major milestone. Three hundred members! That’s a lot of early mornings, a lot of punch cards, and a lot of stories.
In true celebratory fashion, they didn’t just show up for the occasion—they brought the party with them. Complete with their own shark decorations and enough enthusiasm to make the whole thing feel like a real event— they made sure #300 was celebrated properly.
Congratulations to both of you on officially joining the ranks and helping us hit a number we never could have imagined when this little club first started.
For the uninitiated: the Early Morning Drinkers Society (E.M.D.S.) is our unofficial club for those who know the best rounds happen early. Stop by between 8AM–2PM, Monday through Friday, ask your bartender for a punch card, and after 15 visits you’ll earn your membership, a T-shirt, a toast in your honor, and a crew that now includes more than 300 fellow early birds.

The thing about the Knicks is that they’re one of the few things left that can still unite this city. For a brief moment, the banker, the bartender, the cab driver, the chef, the artist, and the guy who insists he could coach better than anyone in the league all find themselves pulling in the same direction.
And honestly? A deep Knicks playoff/finals run probably does more for the collective disposition of New Yorkers than therapy ever could. People smile more. They talk to strangers. They linger a little longer. The city feels lighter.
When Willis Reed limped onto the court in 1970 and when the Knicks won it all again in 1973, that feeling swept through every neighborhood in the city. From Madison Square Garden to the bars and social clubs of Little Italy, New Yorkers celebrated together.
Let’s go! We’ll be watching with the sound on! 🧡💙🦈

Please join us in welcoming some of our most esteemed new members from the month of May: Ellie, Grace, Delilah and Jordan
A strong showing from all four and an impressive commitment to the early morning cause. They put in the work, showed up consistently, and have officially earned their places in the club. We’re always happy to see familiar faces in the morning, and we’re even happier when those faces make it onto the roster. Congratulations, everyone — your memberships are officially on the books.
