What people say
Saint Vitus Bar, located on Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is a must-visit spot for live music and pub enthusiasts. Despite its gothic-themed ambiance and name inspired by a Black Sabbath song, Saint Vitus Bar is far from being a malevolent place. In fact, it's a welcoming spot where you can enjoy cheap beers while listening to great music.
The bar regularly hosts live music events featuring various genres such as heavy metal, screamo, skramz, crusty hardcore punk, and more. The upcoming shows of Ilsa, Fister and Sunrot as well as pg.99, Catharsis, Nø Man and Corrode are just some examples of the exciting lineups that Saint Vitus Bar offers.
But it's not just about the music at Saint Vitus Bar. The bar also hosts DJ nights where you can dance to the bitter sweet symphonies spun by Nick Marc (of Tiswas) and special guest DJ Jose Maldonado (the frontman for The West Coast's premier Smiths Tribute Band The Sweet & Tender Hooligans). From Gorillaz to Bowie to The Smiths and more - there's something for everyone.
Overall, Saint Vitus Bar is an excellent spot for anyone looking for a fun night out with great music and drinks. Don't miss out on this gem in Greenpoint!
