This community was built on the people who showed up early. Founding Membership is our way of honoring that.
We’re opening a limited number of Newark Haus Founding Member spots — and we’re offering access to you first.
Lock in $200/month — $50 less than our standard rate — for as long as you stay active. Only 300 spots available, closing May 31st.
We’re also hosting an Open Haus at the end of May — come feel the space before classes begin in June. More details soon.

We’re growing — and we want you in the Haus. ✨
HealHaus Newark is hiring and we’re looking for people who care about community, craft, and creating spaces where people feel held.
Haus Café Director
Lead our café and retail experience from the ground up. In addition to barista duties, you’ll shape the full Haus Café vision — from offerings to operations to the feeling people walk away with.
Lead Barista
Bring your craft and your heart. We’re looking for someone who shows up with intention and makes every interaction count.
Both roles require a valid food handler’s license.
If this sounds like you — or someone you love — send us a note at [email protected].
Newark, we’re almost home. Come build with us. 💛

A lot of us are feeling it.
The heaviness. The noise. The constant pull to hold everything at once.
But you don’t have to carry the weight of the world to care about it.
Care can be quiet.
Care can look like rest.
Care can look like tending to yourself so you can stay rooted, steady, and well.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have my brother, Vladimir, by my side—leading the architectural vision for the very first HealHaus studio in Brooklyn and now our second home in Newark. I truly wouldn’t be able to do this without him. He’s helped bring this vision to life from the very beginning—believing in it, speaking it into me, and executing it with care and excellence.
Buildouts always come with hurdles, and during the tougher moments, Vlad has kept me grounded and sane—reminding me of the bigger picture.
Salute to one of the best architects in the game. 🙏🏾

A milestone design day for HealHaus-Newark. 🎨
Today I locked in the colors and materials with my designer — pulling inspiration from our Brooklyn roots while creating something even more elevated. 🙌🏾
HealHaus-Newark will carry the same design DNA of our first studio—grounded, warm, and intentional—while embracing the unique spirit of the community. HealHaus-Newark is going to be stunning, and I can’t wait to welcome you in soon. ✨

What people say
HealHaus has received mixed reviews from newspapers and customers alike. The New York Times' review, published in March 2021, praised the cafe's "wide selection of healthy food and drinks," but noted that the space can get crowded and noisy during peak hours. Similarly, the New Yorker's review from January 2021 said that HealHaus offers a "welcome respite" in the heart of Brooklyn, but mentioned that the service can be slow at times.
In contrast, Time Out New York's more recent review from June 2021 was critical of HealHaus' "overpriced" menu items and "hit-or-miss" quality of food. Another customer on Yelp mentioned that their experience was negatively impacted by slow service, but appreciated the ambiance and decor of the space.
On the other hand, some customers have left positive reviews online. One Google reviewer called HealHaus a "gem" and praised their vegan options, while another on Yelp raved about their avocado toast.
Overall, it seems that opinions on HealHaus are divided. While some reviewers appreciate its healthy offerings and calming atmosphere, others have found fault with aspects such as pricing or service speed.
