For those taking the subway, the nearest station is Penn Station and from there it's just a short walk to various stores and restaurants. If you prefer to drive or park, there are parking garages nearby as well as metered street parking on certain blocks.
To get to the doughnut shop, take the stairs or elevator up from the Amtrak level and exit onto 8th Avenue. Walk north for about 5-10 minutes until you reach a brightly lit storefront with colorful signage. This establishment is known for its delicious fried dough treats and coffee drinks.
If you're in the mood for fast food, turn left instead of right when exiting the Amtrak level onto 8th Avenue. Walk south until you reach a major intersection with traffic lights. Cross over towards McDonald's or any other major chain restaurant within that area.
Finally, if you want another type of doughnuts go straight ahead when exiting from Amtrak Level through 8th Avenue Exit, continue walking straight until after a couple of blocks. The destination will be on your right side - again look for bright lights and eye-catching signages spotted anywhere along the way!
