What people say
Latin American restaurants are known for their vibrant atmosphere, delicious food, and lively music. Salsa Con Fuego, located on Cedar Avenue in the Bronx, embodies all of these qualities and more. This innovative Latino concept is inspired by a tradition that embraces the love of family, food, music, and social entertainment.
One of the standout features of Salsa Con Fuego is "The Salsa Music Gallery", which exhibits countless golden era legends of Salsa Music and FANIA All-Stars such as Celia Cruz, Willie Colon, Ray Barretto, Machito, Tito Puente, La Lupe, Mark Anthony, Daniel Santos, Hector La Voz, and Ruben Blades. This gallery is a testament to the rich history and cultural significance of salsa music in the South Bronx during the late 1960s.
But it's not just about the music at Salsa Con Fuego - the food is equally impressive. Led by full-time Executive Chef Jack Rosado and a team of culinary pros, the menu offers a wide range of Latin American dishes that are sure to satisfy any palate. From classic favorites like empanadas and ceviche to more unique offerings like grilled octopus with chorizo vinaigrette or crispy pork belly with sweet plantains - there's something for everyone.
Overall, Salsa Con Fuego promises to provide a venue that values the human experience based on traditions and memories. It's a restaurant that not only serves great food but also restores history and anchors cultural traditions in the Bronx. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience filled with delicious food and lively entertainment - look no further than Salsa Con Fuego on Cedar Avenue.
