Yesterday, Saturday November 22nd, Our Matriarch, Of What She Would Call Our Little Family Departed This Physical Earth.

She Was The Definition Of Light And The Embodiment Of Joy.

She Was My Biggest Fan And My Loudest Cheerleader.
She Thought I Was Smart And Beautiful And Brave.

But In Fact She Was The Smartest, Most Beautiful, Kindest, Most Loving Individual You’d Ever Encounter.

She Was By Far The Happiest Person I’ve Ever Known. If You’ve Ever Spoken With Her, And Many Of You Have.,You Would Have Noticed Her Voice Was Laced With Music And Laughter.

She Was A Lover Of Beautiful Things.
She Loved To Dress Up, She Loved Carnival And She Absolutely Loved Trinidad.

She Was Loved Deeply, And Will Be Missed Deeply.
Her Light Has Not Diminished, Just Transported To A Different Realm.
And I Am So Happy For Her!

May She Sleep Peacefully.

Yesterday was surreal and just dreadful and the rain just added to the out of body feeling .

I’m not sure everyone knew that one of your very very first events as a promoter, was hosted at SUGARCANE RESTAURANT!
It was winter 2004 and I had no idea who you were!
I was like I absolutely will not shut down my restaurant on a Saturday night for some DJ! saved you ! She was like ohhhh noooo you have to!

And from that day forth you were family!
I’ve never seen you without a smile and that inherent joy that hovered around you always.

The community has suffered a loss that will be felt for years to come.
Rest easy world famous DJ .
We love you deeply. We really do.
