Planetary Boundary series #3: Biodiversity Loss 🐾

We’ve already crossed the line... and your plate had something to do with it.

Biodiversity loss isn’t just about endangered species on a poster. It’s about the collapse of the systems that keep soil fertile, water clean, and food growing. When species disappear, the whole network weakens, and we are part of that network.
The hard truth: animal agriculture is the leading driver of habitat destruction globally. More land cleared, more species displaced, less resilience left in the system.

The less obvious truth: every time you choose plants, you’re choosing less land use, less pressure on wild ecosystems, and more room for life to exist.
breaks down exactly where stands on this boundary — what we’re doing right, and where the work isn’t finished.

Because knowing the limit is step one. Building a food system that respects it is everything else. 🌱

🌟 Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads and father figures out there! 🌟

Today, we’re celebrating three heartwarming stories from our community that show the unique and beautiful bonds between fathers and their children. Whether you’re a biological dad, stepdad, adoptive dad, or any other loving father figure, we appreciate everything you do!

1️⃣ Christophe: a passionate pioneer for a healthy future of the next generation, loves taking his daughter to the restaurant to teach her all about eating healthy.
2️⃣ Sulabh & Sushant: both fathers that introduced their children to vegan cuisine and went to Le Botaniste while traveling.
3️⃣ Maciej: finds such joy in spending quality time with his children and wants to be a great example for his kids.

At Le Botaniste, we believe in celebrating every father figure and the special moments they create with their children.

Here’s to all the dads who inspire, teach, and love unconditionally. 💚 Enjoy a wonderful Father’s Day with your loved ones, and we hope to see you at Le Botaniste soon!
