This Sunday, ABC B**r Co. will be hosting a celebration of the life of Rose Friedman, a beloved member of the East Village community and a dear friend to all of us here at B**r Co.
Over the years, we have always taken great pride in being a space that individuals and families alike could call home. We are so incredibly lucky to call Rose and her family some of our finest examples of that. Many knew Rose for her work as an editor and reporter for NPR for over a decade, or for her co-founding of the “books we love” reading guide, or for being the lead advocate that fought for increased paid parental leave for her organization, or for many of the other incredible or inspiring things she had accomplished, but many here at ABC knew her for her deep and unwavering kindness.
This Sunday at 2pm we invite the neighborhood to stop by and celebrate the memory or Rose in the ways we knew her best, through community.
