Birra Nursia - A Perfect Easter Pairing
If you've been into our shop on Avenue C over the past couple of weeks, you've likely seen a pile of boxes. Some of you have asked, and some of you have only wondered! We're hear to spill the secret of what is in the boxes: Birra Nursia (https://birranursia.com/) .
All the beers have their place on your dinner table, but the Birra Nursia Extra, their 10% Strong ale is rich and caramelized and a beer that pairs beautifully with Easter dishes. In Italy, it is particularly well suited to traditional dishes such as roast lamb and roast goat. It also makes a fine match for the classic Colomba di Pasqua (“Easter Dove”) cake, complementing the raisins and candied fruit found inside. If you aren't roasting a lamb or a goat in your East Village apartment (one can wish!), the Birra Nursia Bionda is a versatile 6% Blonde ale that pairs with just about anything. Their 8% Tripel ale, their newest in the lineup, slots in between the two original beers, and is great with roasted white meats, but it also rich enough for beef and other heartier dishes.

Well folx, that time of year is here again: The Super Bowl is upon us! And if you're already slammed with party prep work, we have just the thing for you: A dazzling meat & cheese board for you and your guests to enjoy!
The splay will include a variety of our favorite meats, cheeses, and accoutrements that are designed for 10-12 people to graze on. Like Stefon Diggs wide open on the 5-yard line, this is a sure thing!
