Rest in Sweetest Peace to a true Marina Cafe legend, Artie.
Artie was never a customer—he was family. He had a way of making everyone laugh ( as you can see in these pictures) , lighting up every room he entered, and turning an ordinary day into a memorable one. His stories, jokes, and larger-than-life personality brought so much joy to our staff and guests over the years.
One of the sights we’ll never forget was Artie cruising down to his boat on his cooler scooter, always making people smile before he even said a word. That was Artie—full of life, full of laughs, and unforgettable in every way.
The Marina Cafe won’t be the same without seeing him around, hearing his laughter, or sharing another story with him. We are grateful for every memory and every moment we had with him.
Rest in peace, Artie. You were always family. You will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always a part of the Marina Cafe family. ❤️

To get to Mansion Avenue in New York, take the subway line 4 or 5 and get off at the 86th Street station. Then, walk east towards East End Avenue until you reach Mansion Avenue.
If driving, take the FDR Drive and exit at East End Avenue. Take a right onto East End Avenue and then a left onto Mansion Avenue. There is limited street parking available.
Alternatively, there is also a public parking garage located nearby on East End Avenue between 88th and 89th Streets.
