From the lava-sculpted slopes of Sicily to the mineral-rich soils of some of Europe’s most dramatic growing regions, volcanic terroir has become one of the most exciting conversations in modern wine. But what exactly makes a wine “volcanic,” and can you truly taste the influence of ancient eruptions in the glass?
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a selection of wines from Frederick Wildman & Sons, thoughtfully paired across five courses created by Executive Chef Juan Bautista. Each wine has been chosen to showcase the character, energy, and distinctive sense of place that volcanic landscapes can bring to a bottle.
Chef Bautista’s menu will highlight seasonal ingredients, vibrant flavors, and refined technique, creating pairings that allow both food and wine to shine. As each course arrives, we’ll journey through volcanic regions and discover why these wines have captivated sommeliers, winemakers, and wine lovers alike.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or simply curious about the buzz surrounding volcanic wines, this promises to be an evening of great food, great wine, and great conversation.

First sip hits cold.
Then the heat walks in slow.
It patches up the little wounds the week left behind.
Smooths the static in your head.
Puts a leash on the animal scratching at your ribs all day.
By the second drink, the city doesn’t seem so loud anymore. Just smoke. Shadows. Jazz somewhere down the block. And you — finally disappearing into the night the right way.
Tequila. Apple. Celery. Cayenne.
A drink stitched together like a guy holding himself up at 1:13 in the morning — tie loose, conscience crooked, neon bleeding through the blinds.

Our nara is better than your nara. Can we say Nara? Did we just coin something obnoxious?

It’s Friday.
That first sip of beer is the last note in a long, low melody — the week finally fading out as the door clicks shut behind you.
But every smooth pull comes with a little trouble humming underneath it, tuning up the weekend like a band in a smoke-filled back room… ready to play you into something you’ll only half remember by Monday.

Sweet on the front end.
Smoke in the shadows.
A citrus edge that cuts clean.
You don’t taste the trouble—
not until it’s already yours.
All Shook Up.

The Madriguera.
These streets don’t ask nicely — so neither does this drink.
She walked in smoking Parliament Lights. Beautiful. A little dangerous. The kind of woman you know is a bad idea the moment she sits down — and you order another round anyway.
One sip and you’re already making deals you can’t afford. Smoky. Sharp. Gone before you’re ready.
You’ll feel it in the morning. Every single bit of it.
Worth it? You already know the answer.

Find your vibe.
Step inside and have a real conversation—
with a friend, or a stranger who won’t be one for long.
This is how New York was made.
This is how it stays alive.
Fresh ideas and open hearts traded over a buzz,
eyes up, minds open, possibilities humming.
Put down the phone.
Pull up a chair.
