On Wednesday, Santiago’s Beer Garden experienced a devastating fire.
It was a tough day for all of us, but even in the middle of that chaos, our staff showed the same dedication they’ve always shown. Some even came in on their day off just to help however they could.
That’s the kind of team we have — hardworking, loyal, and tight like family.
Now, with the restaurant closed, more than 30 employees suddenly find themselves without income right before the holidays. These are people who have given their all to Santiago’s and to the Harlem community for years.
We’ve created a GoFundMe to support them through this transition and help cover two months of payroll while they secure new opportunities.
If Santiago’s has ever been part of your celebrations, your weekends, or your memories, we’d appreciate your support — whether that’s through donating or simply sharing the link.
Every bit helps our team stay on their feet while we handle the emergency costs and begin planning for recovery.
Link in bio.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked in, and offered help. Harlem, we appreciate you, we love you ❤️
