What people say
Starbucks on Hillel Place has garnered mixed reviews from newspaper critics in recent years. One review from The New York Times in 2018 praised the chain for its consistent quality and convenience but noted that the location could be noisy and crowded during peak hours.
A more recent review from Brooklyn Paper in 2020 was not as positive, with the critic criticizing the lack of seating options and slow service. However, they still noted that Starbucks provided a reliable option for coffee on the go.
Online customer reviews reflect similar sentiments. One customer wrote on Yelp in 2019 that they appreciated the “fast and friendly” service at this particular location, while another complained about the lack of a restroom.
Overall, it seems that Starbucks on Hillel Place is a convenient option for those needing a quick caffeine fix but may not be ideal for those looking to sit and stay awhile.
