Awadh Awadh was a traditional Indian (awadhi) cuisine restaurant located in New York City. Owned by Chef Gaurav Anand, Awadh was only available for delivery and takeout services. The restaurant's menu featured an elaborately prepared variety of kebabs, kormas, biryanis, and breads unique to the region. Anand mastered the art of cooking over a slow fire from the 200-year-old technique "Dum Pukht." Unfortunately, Awadh has been permanently closed.
