Kelly Street Garden Bronx is a beacon of hope and resilience in the heart of the South Bronx. This social justice project is dedicated to empowering residents by providing access to fresh produce and fostering a sense of community through sustainable gardening practices.

The initiative at Kelly Street Garden goes beyond just growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers; it is about creating a safe and pesticide-free environment where residents can come together to cultivate not only plants but also relationships. By actively engaging in community forums, dialogues, research, and seeking partnerships, Kelly Street Garden is making a tangible impact on food accessibility in an area where nutritional options are often limited.

Established in 2014 through a partnership between Banana Kelly and Workforce Housing, with support from Morgan Stanley, Kelly Street Garden has transformed a once neglected space into a thriving urban farm. The dedication to food security, health, cultural enrichment, and education is evident in every aspect of the garden's design and programming.

Located in one of the poorest Congressional districts in the United States, Kelly Street Garden stands as a testament to the power of grassroots initiatives and collaborative efforts. It serves as a reminder that positive change can happen when communities come together with a shared vision.

For those looking to support local initiatives that make a real difference, Kelly Street Garden Bronx is an inspiring example of what can be achieved through passion, dedication, and community spirit.
