What people say
New American restaurants are known for their innovative and diverse menus that incorporate a variety of cuisines and ingredients. Hearth, located on East 12th Street in New York, is a prime example of this culinary trend. This James Beard award-winning restaurant offers a unique blend of Italian and new American cuisine that is sure to satisfy any palate.
One of the standout dishes at Hearth is the Variety Burger, which features a secret blend of 100% grass-fed brisket, chuck, bone marrow, heart, and liver ground in-house. The burger is topped with Fontina Val D’Aosta cheese from the Italian alps and caramelized onions cooked in grass-fed butter and fresh thyme. It's served with Grandma fries fried in all grass-fed beef tallow. For an extra special touch, diners can add a sesame milk bun made with freshly milled whole spelt and sourdough starter.
Hearth also offers an impressive selection of appetizers and sides that are perfect for sharing with friends or family. The hazelnut biscotti served with Castello di Bossi 2007 Vin Santo is a must-try dessert that will leave you wanting more.
In addition to its delicious food, Hearth also boasts a cozy side dining room that's perfect for private events or intimate gatherings. And if you're looking for a tasty brunch option, be sure to try the pulled pork dipped in broth or the chicken liver mousse with fried capers.
Overall, Hearth is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a unique dining experience in New York City. With its innovative menu, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional service, it's no wonder why this restaurant has won so many accolades over the years.
