Merakia, a Greek restaurant and steakhouse, offered a unique dining experience with a story that dates back to the Greek war of independence in 1821. Athenian chef Tasso Ballas infused his creative flair into the menu, featuring spit-roasted lamb and other traditional Greek dishes. The restaurant also boasted a top-notch steakhouse with juicy cuts of meat hand-picked by owner Andreas who fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning one. Unfortunately, as of an unknown date, Merakia has been permanently closed.

To get to the Greek restaurant and steakhouse at W 21st Street in New York via public transport, you can take the subway and get off at the 23rd Street Station. From there, it's just a short walk to your destination.
