OVERVIEW
Founded in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, The Sandwich Shop is a nationally recognized, award-winning, fast-casual restaurant. The ideal candidate contains the following character traits: trustworthy, professional, punctual, reliable, attentive, energetic, cheerful, and courteous. Our company, Sfumato Holdings, is a New York-based private equity group that has recently acquired the Shop for the purpose of a large-scale national expansion. As such, our team members are held to a very high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As outlined in the Front Counter Associate description, core tasks may involve but are not limited to the following:
-Taking orders in person, over the phone, and managing our tablets. We love multi-taskers.
-Helping guests at the register and explaining the menu.
Packing and serving to-go food orders.
-Cleaning and reorganizing.
-Assisting in the kitchen when necessary.
-Tracking store inventory and helping to restock it.
-Ability to stand for a full 8 hour + shift and lift 20 + pounds on occasion.
-Ready to work on weekends and holidays.
-Positively representing The Sandwich Shop all day every day.

QUALIFICATIONS
Working on the counter at the Shop is fast-paced and will require the following qualities:
-You are a problem-solver with a solutions-oriented attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure. -You thrive during a very fast-paced and high-volume lunch rush that would drive some people crazy.
-You are a team player but are also self-directed. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in to help your Team.
-You're energetic, friendly, and genuinely interested in what brings guests through our doors. Your customer service is consistently impeccable.
-You have an eye for how to optimize and improve everything around you.
You show passion & commitment.

OVERVIEW
Founded in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, The Sandwich Shop is a nationally recognized, award-winning, fast-casual restaurant. We deliver gourmet sandwiches, salads, rice bowls, desserts, and beverages. We are now expanding our operations to the Upper East side and need a team of driven line cooks.

Our ideal candidate is a flexible team player who is trustworthy, professional, punctual, reliable, attentive, energetic, cheerful, and courteous. It is helpful if you speak both English and Spanish. Please know that we will review proof of your immigration status.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
-Opening the Shop in the morning and restocking inventory with deliveries from our vendors.
-Preparing meats, cheeses, produce, and sauces from scratch using slicers, Crock-Pots, a pressure cooker, a countertop oven and panini presses among other simpler kitchen equipment.
-Tracking store inventory.
-Keeping your workstation clean and organized and cleaning and closing down the Shop if working the night shift.
-Ability to stand for a full 8 hour + shift and lift up to 50 pounds on occasion (don’t worry, the whole team lends a hand!)
-Ready to work on weekends and holidays.
-Positively representing The Sandwich Shop all day every day.
