Did you heard about our store makeover? 😱😍 We’ll turn 10 years this Saturday and thought it was the perfect reason to a big change. It was a lot of work to reopen before the Holiday’s shopping craze. In the meantime our kitchen team created a bunch of delicious holiday treats that we”ll post about it soon. My favorite part? The surprise behind our glass window: a long time dream to show everyone how brigadeiros are made 🥹❤️🔥. My holiday miracle was granted 🎄 Tell me what do you think? Hope to see you soon!

🌟✨ On Friday, I had the honor of sharing my journey as a Brazilian immigrant entrepreneur with the inspiring Brazilian Students Club at East Side High School in Newark, NJ - 🇧🇷💚 Through my passion for food, I’ve built a vibrant community, and it’s crucial to shine a light on the possibilities and challenges that lie ahead for all Brazilian immigrants, especially the young ones. We talked about connection, shared learnings, TikTok, and, of course, Brazilian desserts! I left feeling energized and so proud of them!!! Go
A heartfelt thank you to the Brazilian consulate ( ) for this amazing initiative and for the oportunity to colaboratr. Hopefully, we can inspire the next generation to chase their dreams and celebrate the richness and beauty of our culture! 🇧🇷💚💛

✨ Can bakers be painters? In our brigadeiro world, absolutely! As we gear up for Brigadeiro Bakery’s 10-year anniversary this December, I’ve been reflecting on what this milestone means.
The past few months have been filled with questions and uncertainties. What 10 years in business acctually mean? Do I wish another 5, 10 years? I revisited the dreams we sealed and delivered and the ones we didn’t. The last 4 demanded so much change and adaptation that I saw myself lost way more than I expected. But something always keeps me going.
Last year, we began a rebranding process, and my amazing team encouraged me to extend it to our shop. I realized that neither I nor the company are the same as we were a decade ago. We’ve learned, evolved, and are still striving for more!
So, this week we rolled up our sleeves, put down the spoons, and picked up brushes! 🎨 With our favorite pagode music playing, we transformed our shop to reflect who we are today: mature, joyful, deeply rooted in our Brazilian confecctionery and way of serving but cute as ever 😉
We’re still fine-tuning a lot of details, but we reopened yesterday, feeling refreshed and ready for our 10-year celebration! 🎉
Huge love to my Brigadeiro team and our incredible community of friends and clients. Your support means the world! 💛 More on our anniversary soon!

Last week we worked in a beautiful dessert’s table for a dear client. It was so interesting to go beyond brigadeiros and showcase some other favorite desserts all bite sized: passion fuit cocada, cocoa nibs brownie, brazilian nut cookies, Carolinas (the Brazilian version of profiteroles, filled with dulce de leche mousse), just to list a few. Guests left with a box of treats also made by us, and since the event was about sustaintability we used only natural and reciclyble materials for the table. I also loved creating the floral ornament inspired by the richness of a tropical forest, something I treasure a lot doing personally and had the oportunity to bring this to a dessert table for the first time. Thank you for the oportunity, trust and for embracing all our ideias. 💛

Mari here! How is your summer going? I spent July in Brazil with my boys. About a month ago, we visited magical Belém do Pará. I still get goosebumps when I think about entering the wilderness of the forest through the river for the first time, the heartiness of the people, and the richness of the food: the fish, açaí, cocoa. Insane. Then we spent a few quiet weeks in my hometown with lots of family around. I have a big one, so we got to enjoy quality time with each of them doing simple things, or nothing. And I noticed how much I was in need of that. So important. During my stay in Bauru, Max helped me bake many treats for the dessert table I made for my nephew Massimo’s baptism. It was the most perfect morning to receive this little angel as my godson and also watch my family devour all the desserts. Something I don’t get to do often but I really treasure. It’s too easy to win their hearts over desserts. My boys stayed in Brazil to enjoy their summer break the most, and while I came back to NYC to catch up with work, I got struck by the fact that in December our brick-and-mortar dream bakery will turn 10 years. It’s a lot, I know. And I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about this crazy unlikely journey that was never planned but brought me so much. As I revisit so many memories and different times we’ve been through, I meet this certainty that adding pockets of joy into people’s lives will always be our best contribution to the world. And I cannot wait to see what the following chapters hold for us. What do you think? Sendind love always 💛
