I have so many fond memories of our 4-floor brownstone home with its beautiful archways, 7 marble fireplaces, and sprawling backyard that hosted countless barbecues and gatherings. As a homeowner, I was proud to have shared this space with family and friends, creating a sense of community. The backyard, where we hosted our wedding in 2013, holds a special place in my heart. Driving through the neighborhood today brought back a mix of emotions as I thought about the life we built and the choices that led us to sell. Life is full of ups and downs, but I'm grateful for the experiences and lessons learned.
I'm reminiscing about our former brownstone home, where we created so many amazing memories with family and friends. From the beautiful archways to the sprawling backyard, every corner of that house held a special place in my heart. As I drive through the neighborhood today, I'm met with a mix of emotions thinking about the life we built and the choices that led us to sell. Life has its ups and downs, but I'm grateful for the journey.
As I drive through our old neighborhood, I'm flooded with memories of our beautiful brownstone home. With its 7 marble fireplaces, sprawling backyard, and beautiful archways, it was more than just a house – it was a community. We shared so many special moments with family and friends, from barbecues to our wedding in 2013. Selling the house was bittersweet, but it's a reminder that life is full of choices and ups and downs. I'm grateful for the experiences and lessons learned. I must honor and mention Sam my first and longest gay relationship. My ex-wife wasn’t gay so she can’t be the first gay relationship. Sam and I found this building together at the time. My daughters were just 11 and 13 now they are much older with college bound and one in college children of their own. Their feelings of warm love occupies space in their core, because of this house that will forever link them to Brooklyn especially Fort Greene.

What people say
Spoonfed New York Country is a must-visit for anyone who loves Southern American cuisine. The restaurant offers a unique blend of traditional low-country cooking with a modern New York twist. Randy Witherspoon, the owner and chef, has perfected his family recipes to create dishes that are both delicious and innovative.
One of the standout features of Spoonfed is their use of smoked meats. This tradition was passed down from Randy's grandmother, and he has taken it to the next level with his own improvements. The result is mouth-watering dishes that are bursting with flavor.
Another great aspect of Spoonfed is their commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. They offer a variety of vegetable dishes that are just as satisfying as their meat options. And if you have a sweet tooth, be sure to try one of their fruit pies or jams - they're simply divine.
The atmosphere at Spoonfed is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a casual dinner with friends or family. And if you're in need of catering for an event, look no further than Spoonfed - they've got you covered.
Overall, Spoonfed New York Country is a gem in the world of Southern American cuisine. With its delicious food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere, it's definitely worth checking out.
