Sparks Deli is a sandwich shop and deli located on Borden Avenue that offers American, French, Greek, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine. They offer delivery, catering, takeout services including breakfast, coffee, drinks and lunch specials. Sparks Deli opened on December 24th, 2005. Despite posting on social media until 2018 promoting events and their services in the earlier years, they have not updated their profile since then. This might be an indication of Sparks Deli closing down.

To get to Borden Avenue in Long Island City, you can take the subway and get off at the 21st Street-Queensbridge station. From there, walk south on 21st Street until you reach Borden Avenue.
If you prefer to drive, take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) and exit at Van Dam Street. Turn left onto Van Dam Street and then turn right onto Borden Avenue. There is street parking available in the area, but it may be limited.
Alternatively, you can park at a nearby parking lot or garage such as the one located at 10-41 47th Road. From there, walk east on 11th Street until you reach Borden Avenue.

Sparks Deli is a must-visit sandwich shop and deli located on Borden Avenue in Long Island City. Since its opening in 2005, Sparks Deli has been serving up delicious American (Traditional), Breakfast, Brunch, Burgers, Cuban, Fast food, French, Greek and Mediterranean, Irish, Italian, Mexican, Sandwiches and Spanish/Basque cuisine. The restaurant offers delivery, catering services for groups of any size and takeout options for those on the go. The breakfast menu is a standout with plenty of options to choose from along with coffee and drinks to start your day off right.
Sparks Deli is also known for its great food and drinks as seen when Blue Bloods invaded the restaurant in November 2018. The restaurant even hosted a World Cup viewing party in June 2018 where patrons enjoyed food, beers and cheers!
The social media posts show that Sparks Deli has been feeding working athletes for over 10 years with their famous da'Bacon sandwich. They also offer seasonal specials such as Pernil with rice and beans during pigout time on Thursdays.
Overall, Sparks Deli is a great spot to grab a quick bite or cater an event with their diverse menu options and excellent service.
