After 28 (28!) incredible years, BISTRO LES AMIS will bid farewell to our customers on Saturday, May 31St.

We’ve come to prize all of you, and the most dedicated and longest-serving staff of any establishment in this neighborhood so rich in history but where restaurant signs come and go with great frequency, as our extended family.

For all of us at the Bistro, the experience of the last nearly three decades is a movable feast that will nourish the rest of our lives. We have dined together through eras of boom and crisis for New York City and Soho, and your loyalty has never wavered. It’s been an extraordinary journey, and it’s been the honor of our lives to share it with all of you.

Someone’s talking business, someone’s on a first date… once the office lights are off, your couch and Netflix can wait. It’s a table by the window or a seat at the bar. It’s time for steak frites, and rounds of side fries for the table. It’s time to unwind and yet make big plans.
