Some days, a letter means more than any review ever could.
This beautiful handwritten letter from a local student, Isla, brought tears to our eyes and reminded us exactly why Sandwich and Pickle exists.
Our restaurant was created in memory of our grandmothers—a tribute to family, love, tradition, and the belief that food brings people together. Just recently, our family welcomed a baby girl named after her grandmother, continuing a legacy that means everything to us.
To know that a child in our community feels so connected to our restaurant that she chose it for a school essay is one of the greatest compliments we could ever receive.
Behind every breakfast served, every cup of coffee poured, every smile, and every long day is a family working hard to create a place where people feel at home. Moments like this remind us that all of that hard work is worth it.
