What an incredible experience for Kiosko 787! We had the honor of being invited to cater and be part of a special event with the one and only DJ ALEX SENSATION from La Mega 97.9, also streamed live on his YouTube channel! 🎧🔥

And to make the night even more memorable, we were treated to a SPECIAL LIVE PERFORMANCE BY BACHATERO ELVIS MARTÍNEZ! 🎤🔥🇩🇴 What an amazing talent and performance!

One thing I have to say about Alex is that beyond the music, the fame, and the incredible career he’s built, he’s genuinely a GREAT human being. ❤️

His love and appreciation for his fans aren’t just words. You can see it in the way he interacts with people, the time he takes for them, and the positive energy he brings wherever he goes. It’s no surprise that so many people are drawn to him. Good energy attracts good people! 🙌

A very special THANK YOU to Eric from Team Sensation, who has continuously shown love and support for Kiosko 787. People like you remind us how meaningful genuine relationships and supporting one another really are. We appreciate you, brother! 🙏🇵🇷

And on a personal note, one of the highlights of the day was getting to bring my 15-year-old son along for the experience. ❤️ Watching him enjoy himself, meet people, and get a firsthand look at everything happening behind the scenes made the day even more special for me as a father.

The entire event was filled with laughter, incredible energy, great vibes, and, of course, some delicious Puerto Rican food from Kiosko 787! 🇵🇷🔥

At the end of the day, it’s not always about business. Sometimes it’s about the people you meet, the relationships you build, and the memories you create along the way. ❤️

🇵🇷 YOU CAN RIP THE STAR OFF OUR FLAG, BUT YOU WILL NEVER TAKE AWAY OUR PUERTO RICAN PRIDE!! 🇵🇷 ✊🏼

Once again, our beautiful Puerto Rican flag outside Kiosko 787 has been vandalized 💔

Back in June, someone decided to deface it with graffiti. Today, we discovered that someone had actually ripped the star right off our flag.

Seriously, what is wrong with people?

When we built Kiosko 787, we didn’t just open another restaurant. I poured our heart, my money, my sweat, and love for Puerto Rico into creating a little piece of our island right here in Brooklyn.

Every detail was intentional. Every color represents something. And that flag? That flag represents who we are, where our families come from, and the culture we are so damn proud to share.

To some, it’s just paint and wood on the front of a building.

To us, it’s our identity. Our heritage. Our roots. 🇵🇷

We’re a small, Puerto Rican owned business trying to keep our culture alive, serve the food our abuelas raised us on, and give our community a place that feels like home.

We already face enough challenges as a small business. Having to repeatedly repair something that means so much to us shouldn’t be one of them.

We don’t know who did this or why. But whoever you are, understand something:

You didn’t just damage a decoration. You disrespected something that means the world to an entire community.

And guess what?

WE’RE PUTTING THAT STAR RIGHT BACK WHERE IT BELONGS, TODAY! ⭐🇵🇷

Because no matter how many times you try to tear us down, our pride will always stand taller.

To our Boricua community and everyone who loves and respects Puerto Rican culture, we ask you to share this post. Not for sympathy, but because our culture, our businesses, and our community deserve respect.

You can take the star off our flag, but you can’t take Puerto Rico out of our hearts.
