Last but most certainly not least in our special AAPI collab box is this TAMARIN DATE STICKY BUN created with the amazing genius behind !!

The bun is made with our doughnut dough and filled with a souced date filling, and topped with a delicious, tangy, sweet and slightly spicy tamarind date caramel@made with some of her delicious chutney. Is topped with caramelized boondi and candied ginger.

Did you get a chance to try the GUAVA CURRY glaze of our AAPI box? This was in done in collaboration with ! Cassandra and her mom make seriously delicious Malaysian curry pastes in Queens, which we’re selling at the shop btw, and the inspiration behind this sweet & savory flavor. The fragrant sweet guava glaze is made with some of the with spices from their Malaysian curry paste but also has a bit of the actual paste . It is topped with fried fresh curry leaves tossed in sugar, lychee and mango marinated in vanilla bean and a bit of 🍋‍🟩 lime . This was such a fun flavor to create and just love everything .

Cassandra is also so sweet and lovely and wanted to echo that spirit in her flavor. We hope you get to have it again or try it if you didn’t get a chance to and don’t forget to pick up one of her delicious pastes while you’re there!

Next up on our special AAPI box is the sweet and super talented chef & founder of the amazing . I’s a COCONUT 🥥 PANDAN glaze with a toasted sugar coconut meringue. We do a cold infusion with pandan leaves to extract the beautiful herbal vanilla-like notes and it is just so lovely and delicious. is a beautiful Vietnamese-American-French bakery in Chinatown that started out in the pandemic making weekly “bánh boxes” that featured Southeast Asian flavors in the form of classic French pastries and desserts. This flavor is inspired by one of her popular and signature cakes and is a MUST try at her shop. Her style is also simple and elegant so we wanted to honor tyat. Oh and by the way makes an amazzzzzing chocolate chip cookie that you must try and is one of the best in anY and hope you visit her beautiful and delicious bakery

It may be gloomy outside but in here we are all smiles? This collab flavor with the incredibly talented is a special this weekend and rotating through the end of the month and part of our AAPI box . This is the SESAME-YUZU-STRAWBERRY 🍓✨ !!!! It is a Fan-Fan filled with Japanese black sesame diplomat cream, yuzu buttercream, our homemade strawberry jam, and fresh strawberries.

⁠If you don’t already know her work, is an incredibly talented pastry chef whose desserts are as thoughtful and beautiful as they are delicious. Her flavor combinations are always intentional, refined, and rooted in her deep respect for ingredients. I love her feed and always takes me on a delicious journey filled with curiosity and generosity.

This delicious SALTY CALAMANSI collab with the amazing is back and it is tart, sweet, little salty , crunchy and oh sooo good! It has a lime glaze, calamansi curd, toasted meringue, and SALTINE TOFFEE!! (These are quite addictive and dangerous to have in the kitchen… we think we may need to start making bags of them!)

This treat features a zesty calamansi glaze that’s bright, bold, and unapologetically Filipino.
We collaborated with the awesome and playful — Filipino-American baker, writer, flavor explorer, and James Beard winner for her amazing book Mayumu (youbhave to get it!)— on a doughnut that celebrates her joyful spirit and roots. She brings her signature style — whimsical, colorful, and always nostalgic — to every layer of this doughnut. From the pop of citrus to the subtle nods to childhood desserts, it’s a beautiful blend of Filipino culture and creativity.

TOASTED BARLEY - MOCHA !! This is another of the delicious flavors of our AAPI box that we will continue to have on rotation as a special through the end of the month This is a flavor collab with .cho , the pastry chef/founder of . When you look at her feed you can see hpw all of her desserts are a work of art! They are seemingly simple , but there so much intention and skill which I tried to honor in the interpretation of her flavor! The filling is a pastry cream made with toasted Korean barley that has a lovely nutty flavor and a lightly marbled mocha glaze. It is topped with a brown butter cookie-cocoa nib crumble .

10% of all the AAPI foavors will go towards , a non-profit organization that addresses food insecurity , social isolation & loneliness among Asian elderly in under resourced communities. 💕

Hojicha is a Japanese toasted green tea and I looove the cozy, toasty flavor, so the second Kiera suggested it, I was obsessed. We make a silky hojicha milk frosting by simmering and steeping the tea for extra deep flavor, then top it with our housemade Oreo-style cookie crumble. Toasty, creamy, crunchy and VERY yummy.

We are soooo excited to bring this amazing flavor back -!! HOJICHA COOKIES & CREAM collab with the inspiring and talented . Hojicha , in case you don’t know, is a Japanese toasted green tea and i looove the flavor so when she suggested this as one of the ideas it immediately grabbed me! The doughnut has a milk frosting made by simmering the hojicha and let it steep to extract tye foavor but also so it looks more like a tradional cookies and cream. We then make our own oreo like cookie and crumble. It’s silky, toasty, cozy, crunchy and very yummy!!!

Today we celebrate all the incredible mothers and mother figures who give so much of themselves every single day. 💛 The love, patience, strength, sacrifice, comfort, resilience, tenderness, worry, and endless multitasking that moms carry often quietly and behind the scenes is truly extraordinary. Moms make people feel safe, seen, nourished, encouraged, and loved in ways big and small every single day and they add color, wonder, magic and kindness to our lives.

Being a mother has been the greatest privilege and gift of my life — the most beautiful, humbling, joyful, emotional, and meaningful journey. It has changed the way I see the world and deepened my appreciation for all that mothers do and carry and grateful every day .

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mommas out there. Also sending extra love to anyone for whom today feels complicated or hard — those missing someone, grieving, longing, healing, navigating loss, or carrying heavy feelings today. 💕 ❤️ ❤️!!

Milk and cookies doughnuts seem simple but there is a lot more that meets the eye . They are made with a maria cookie milk frosting that starts with macerating the cookies in the milk overnight to then create a delicious , creamy, not too sweet cookie flavor and then top it with mini chocolate chip cookies to top them.

It’s definitely one of our favorite seasonal flavors :)

After spending a wonderful week of work, inspiration and fun in Barcelona recently , I was craving this delicious CREMA CATALANA fan-fan that we hadn’t made in a long time!

It has a delicious custard foavored with fresh lemon and orange peel and caramelized sugar. The recipe of the custard is based on a family recipe from my dear friend and talented chef and excited to have it back as a special this weekend and on rotation for the next couple weeks!

Fan Fan Doughnuts is a must-visit bakery, coffee shop, and donut shop located on Lafayette Avenue in New York. The eclair-inspired filled doughnut, called Fan Fan's, is a must-try for anyone visiting the shop. Chef Fany Gerson, who is also the founder of La Newyorkina, has created an exceptional menu that will satisfy any sweet tooth.

The shop recently had some very special visitors and they hope it was as much fun for them as it was for the staff. Additionally, their Chamoyadas are available all day from 11-6PM at their cart on 30th and 16th street.

Fan Fan Doughnuts also gives back to the community by donating all profits from their COOKIE KRISPIE special to a mission that prepares and empowers students to continue their education and cultivate sustainable careers in culinary arts, hospitality, and entrepreneurship.

On National Doughnut Day, they introduced the COOKIE KRISPIE special which was created in collaboration with Kennedy Stewart Sheeka Spencer - two students at Harry S Truman High School. This doughnut is filled with cookie dough vanilla cream, choc choc glaze, homemade marshmallow crème and candied rice krispies - a perfect treat for any doughnut lover!

Overall, Fan Fan Doughnuts is an excellent spot to grab your favorite doughnuts or try something new. With its exceptional menu and commitment to giving back to the community, it's no wonder why this place has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
