Some things you don’t cut corners on. You don’t fake it. You don’t “get close.”
You go to the source. Flown in overnight from Puerto Rico.
Because culture isn’t recreated… it’s respected.

What makes me happy?
Watching a room full of strangers turn into familia over Mallorcas, Alcappurias, Music, and a little Rum.
This is La Fonda NYC.
Food. Culture. Community.
El Barrio still alive.

New York is a hard city.
It will humble you before it celebrates you.
So when the same neighborhood and streets that watched you grind… Stops for a moment and says “We see you.”
That hits different.
Honored by Union Settlement for entrepreneurship in El Barrio.
But the truth is simple:
I’m just trying to do right
by the culture
and by the people.
La Fonda NYC is yours. Always has been.
