It saddens us to let you know that we lost our dear friend and brother Ivan Mendez suddenly to heart failure Thursday evening. He was an incredible father, friend, brother and uncle- who always put his family first. Ivan was a pivotal part of the workplace at Puffys Tavern in TriBeCa as well as the Brooklyn Brewhouse in downtown Brooklyn where he tirelessly worked many years prior. Ivan underwent a heart surgery this past fall and a follow up operation was scheduled for January. His death was sudden and unexpected. We are raising money for his funeral arrangements as well as financial support for his two daughters back home in Mexico. Please consider helping out his loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate through this tragedy and move forward in life without him. Donations will go directly to his family for end of life costs and future expenses. RIP Ivan ❤️

Hi Friends and Neighbors!
Exciting news- We are open for indoor dining.
Our legal capacity at this time will be 16 people, with single groups as large as 10 people. Reservations can be made at [email protected] and 212-227-3912.
Our delicious sandwiches are available all day now & we also serve bar pie pizzas in the evenings. As a reminder, we open at 11:30 on weekdays and 12 on weekends.

We will be open all weekend with drinks and our delicious sandwiches to go. Saturday & Sunday 12-7pm and Monday Memorial Day 11-6pm. Forget about the beach! Grab a six pack and a bag of sandwiches and head down to the river.

We will be opening this Wednesday May 13th for Drinks, Cocktails, Beers and our delicious Sandwiches To Go, weekdays 11am-6pm (hopefully expanding to the weekends as the weather warms up)
Like everyone else we have been trying to stay afloat during this crazy time. We miss you and could really use your help and support so we can carry on being your favorite local bar.
