In 2008, we opened our doors in the East Village as the first-ever IPPUDO in New York City. Over 18 years later, our East Village flagship is still perfecting every single detail on the menu.
Case in point: our classic Shrimp Bun just got a house-made upgrade. We’re pairing golden jumbo shrimp tempura with a fresh, house-made tartar sauce, tucked inside a pillow-soft steamed bao with crisp lettuce.

If you are taking public transport, take the L subway line to the Union Square-14 St station. From there, walk west on 14th Street and turn right onto 4th Avenue. The restaurant will be on your left.
If you are driving, take the FDR Drive to the Manhattan Bridge exit. After crossing the bridge, turn left onto Canal Street and then turn right onto Lafayette Street. Turn left onto East 4th Street and continue until you reach 4th Avenue. There are several parking garages nearby for parking.
