On April 30, 2018 the Abbey Pub closed forever. What a day that was! A lot has changed since then, but think back to the good times and raise a glass to the Abbey!

Join us as we celebrate the life of our friend Justin Plowman on Saturday, August 9 at 3pm at Jake’s Dilemma.
People have been asking how they can help. For those wanting to help Nikki with some of the left over debts and bills that have built up over the past 2 years that Justin's health was declining, we've set up a GoFundMe here:

6 years ago today the Abbey Pub closed! And after all that time we’ve now been told that one of the friendly neighbourhood gyms is moving in.
So that’s that, folks. Our dreams of drinking at this location again are over, unless you’re happy to pound a beer on the elliptical.
To commemorate/commiserate the day, I’ve made some of my old t-shirt designs available at abbeypubnyc.com - if you missed out in the past, or your shirts are too old and smelly (from drinking beer on the elliptical), then now is your chance to grab one. Cheers!

3 years later, still empty. It seems they’re advertising it as just a retail space now instead of a restaurant. Such a shame the choice was made to close the Abbey Pub down...
Gone but not forgotten!

Hey Abbey fam! Our old neighbors need your help! Tap-a-keg is basically the last great dive bar on Broadway, and while the pandemic has stopped a lot of the fun times, it hasn’t stopped the rent! So, if you’re able, please give to the relief fund here, and help : https://www.gofundme.com/f/tapakeg-relief-fund
