A story behind Sartiano's sommelier and BOND Hospitality Wine Director, Luke Boland.

Luke's journey into wine began not by design, but by necessity. He started in the kitchen at just fifteen, trained at the Culinary Institute of America, and established a career in hospitality as a chef. However, Luke found his true calling when he stepped off the expo line and into the world of wine. Shaped by years of tasting and learning alongside some of the industry’s most respected sommeliers, his approach to developing a wine program is rooted in curiosity, craft, and a deep respect for the glass.
