Snapshots from our fifth Family Tree dinner, presented by Resy with Julia Jaksic
Twenty-five years after Julia first walked into Missy’s kitchen, the two found themselves back on the line together.
What began with a job grew into a decades-long friendship—built over years of cooking, traveling, talking, and growing together. This evening brought that history back to the kitchen, with Italian and Croatian traditions meeting around one table.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for another unforgettable Family Tree dinner.
Next branch on the Family Tree: Sarah Grueneberg on September 24.

Snapshots from our fourth Family Tree dinner, presented by Resy with Joe Flamm. Some friendships begin in the kitchen. Others begin around the table. Though Joe Flamm and Missy Robbins never worked side by side, their shared Spiaggia lineage, mutual mentor, and love of Italian food have connected them for years. Bringing them together for Family Tree felt less like a first collaboration and more like a natural continuation of that story.Thank you to everyone who joined us for another unforgettable evening.
