To get to the sushi and Japanese restaurants located on Amsterdam Avenue in New York, there are several options, depending on whether you prefer to use public transport or drive/park.

Public Transport:
- Take the subway line 1 or 2 to 86th Street Station and walk westward on West 86th Street until you reach Amsterdam Avenue. Turn right onto Amsterdam and continue walking northbound until you find the restaurant.
- Alternatively, take bus M104 or M7 to W 85th Street/Amsterdam Av stop. The restaurant should be a short walk from there.

Driving/Parking:
- From downtown Manhattan, take the West Side Highway northbound and exit at W 79th St. Continue driving eastward on W 79th St until you reach Amsterdam Avenue. Turn right onto Amsterdam Ave and drive for several blocks until you spot your destination on your left-hand side.
- There is street parking available around Amsterdam Avenue, but it can be limited. It might be wiser to park at one of the nearby parking garages such as GGMC Parking or Icon Parking Systems for ease of mind.
