Chef Dave knows his oysters, and Onset Bay is one of his favorites or, as he calls it, a “salt bomb🦪”. Brought to by Pangea Shellfish Company
Grown in the waters of Onset Wareham, Massachusetts, these oysters spend 2–3 years developing their signature character: an unforgettable hit of brine, herbaceous seaweed notes, and a rich, buttery finish.
Raised first in an upweller before moving to floating cages for their final growout, Onset Bays are a true taste of their coastal environment bold, clean, and made for anyone who likes their oysters with serious salinity.
Find them Cull & Pistol or The Lobster Place , depending on availability. And if you want to take Chef Dave’s pick one step further, pair them with an crisp rice lager🍺🦪
