The outpouring of love after the announcement yesterday has been unbelievable. We are so deeply grateful to know PDA meant something to you too. Thank you thank you to everyone who reached out. It’s been one hell of a 6 years at 669 union street, eh?

I cannot emphasize how much this community means to us. Our staff, our neighbors, wine club, every single person who has stopped for a slice or celebrated an event here- we are lucky af to have had the opportunity to sling pies and do Jell-O shots with you- YOU are what made PDA amazing. (Well, you and the wings… and the dough… and the sauce… and the cookies…)

I never thought I’d sell pizza in New York with my little brother but it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever done. I’m proud of him, I’m proud of us. So much love has filled this dining room, it’s been hard to not convince myself it’s worth riding it out even when it’s gotten really rough. So it’s a reluctant exit but luckily there’s a some time for a few last slices and shots before we call it, and I really hope we see you. Thanks again for helping us live the dream.

Love, and PDA forever, Emi
