Flying Fox Tavern on Woodward Avenue in New York is a must-visit for horror fans and foodies alike. This classic horror-themed bar/restaurant offers a unique dining experience that you won't find anywhere else. The atmosphere is spooky and fun, with plenty of horror-inspired decor to keep you entertained throughout your visit.
One of the highlights of Flying Fox Tavern is their special events, such as their "Queer Coded" movie series exploring the queerness of horror during Pride Month. They also offer trivia nights, Buffy Brunch Bingo, and other programming that keeps guests coming back for more.
But it's not just the events that make Flying Fox Tavern stand out. Their menu features delicious dishes like Fried Brussels Sprouts tossed in buffalo sauce, which can be made vegan or vegetarian with crumbled blue cheese. And if you're looking for a St. Patrick's Day celebration, they offer a prix-fixe menu with both vegan and non-vegan options.
Overall, Flying Fox Tavern is a unique and exciting restaurant that offers something for everyone. Whether you're a horror fan or just looking for a fun night out with friends, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.
