What people say
Craft New York is a must-visit American restaurant located in the heart of NYC. Created by renowned chef Tom Colicchio, this restaurant serves simply prepared dishes that highlight pristine, seasonal ingredients. The award-winning architectural design of Bentel and Bentel adds to the overall dining experience.
Craft has received numerous accolades over the years, including the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant nationwide in 2002 and a three-star rating from New York Times critic William Grimes in 2001. This honor was upheld by Sam Sifton in 2011.
Craft's concept is unique - it mimics the experience of dining in someone's home with guests building their own plates from dishes brought to the center of the table. The food at Craft is simple yet sophisticated, with perennial favorites like pan-roasted diver scallops, braised beef short ribs, and Greenmarket sides available in every season.
Craft's commitment to using only the freshest ingredients ensures that every dish is bursting with flavor. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a family-style meal with friends, Craft New York is sure to impress.
