Cassareep derived from cassava and is a staple for making , a special dish served around Christmas time. The juice from the cassava is boiled until caramelized, forming this delicious syrup. We have to credit the Amerindian, indigenous guyanese for this one! If you want to make pepper-pot, or need a Caribbean for your dish, come pick up a bottle at our location.
