thank you for supporting our minority female owned and managed establishments at , , .nyc as well as our incubating shop in the LES . we strive to provide places for women to thrive , grow in their career paths or simply support them in their journeys , create positive work-life balance , pursue passions and build stability here in nyc through our roles not only in coffee … but through floral design and services , plants and home goods , tea and small bites . I am proud to work with and employ 26 talented , driven , fun , caring and overall amazing WOMEN (along with our 8 stellar gentlemen of course!) . happy

It showed that women do the majority of the labor on a coffee farm, including harvesting and processing. However, they are less likely to be involved in the business end of the supply chain, things like certifications, trade, marketing, and transportation. The result is that while women put in more work, men have greater control over business decision-making and finances. Thus, men typically hold a greater share of profits.
Additionally, women are said to carry a “double burden,” because along with working the farm, they also hold responsibility for child rearing and household chores. Praise and utmost respect for every woman in the industry, from farming and production to roasting and service.

Yet again, in an already tumultuous and challenging year for us all, businesses are boarding up ... preparing for the worst . The thought of violence being used as a voice in response to this year’s election , regardless of which party , is tragic beyond words . We hope for an outcome of positive change for the better of our country and our people . Wishing everyone peace and safety amidst the anxiousness and unrest in the air .
